NF-A4X10 FLX Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX fan, 40 mm

The NF-A4x10 FLX is a highly optimized, high-quality 40x10mm silent fan that uses Noctua's AAO frame system and advanced aerodynamic design measures such as Flow Acceleration Channels. The smooth commutation Drive technology and the reference class bearing SSO2 guarantee superb running smoothness and excellent long-term stability. Modular cabling, a low-noise adapter, the OmniJoin adapter set and a 6-year manufacturer's warranty make the NF-A4x10 a premium solution for the highest demands.

Flow Acceleration Channels The impeller of the NF-A4x10 is equipped with so-called flow acceleration channels on the suction side. The acceleration of the air flow in the critical outer regions of the fan blades reduces the suction-side vortex-ablation, resulting in higher efficiency and lower turbulence-related noise emission.

Reduced Engine Lift Size Thanks to an optimized, compact engine design, the hub area of the NF-A4x10 is significantly smaller than with conventional 4cm fans. Thus, a larger blade area could be realized, which contributes to the superior pressure and flow rate of the NF-A4x10.

Integrated Anti-Vibration Pads The anti-vibration pads, made from extra-soft silicone, reduce the transmission of minimal vibrations and are compatible with all standard screws as well as standard mounting systems or fan clips used in CPU coolers.

Smooth Commutation Drive 2 The latest, further developed version of Noctua's SCD drive system guarantees outstanding smoothness by eliminating torque fluctuations and switching noises. This makes the NF-A4x10 surprisingly quiet even from close proximity.

SSO2 Storage system The NF-A4x10 is equipped with the further optimized second generation of Noctua's proven SSO storage system. At SSO2, the rear magnet sits closer to the fan axis, resulting in even better stabilization, resulting in further improved precision and durability.

Low-noise adapter for maximum flexibility The NF-A4x10 FLX (flexibility) can be reduced from 4500 to 3700rpm via the supplied low-noise adapters, allowing fine tuning for maximum flow rate or maximum smoothness.

3 to 2-pin adapter and reverse polarity protection The NF-A4x10 is supplied with an adapter from 3-pin Molex to 2-pin connectors, which are used on many graphics cards as well as network and storage solutions. An integrated diode provides reverse polarity protection when connected via 2-pin connectors.

OmniJoin™ Adapter set Since many devices, in which 40mm fans are used, have proprietary fan connectors, the NF-A4x10 is supplied with Noctuas OmniJoin™ adapter set. Simply cut off the cable from the original fan, attach it to the adapter with the supplied 3M Scotchlok™ terminals and you can also operate the NF-A4x10 on proprietary connections!

Comprehensive Connectivity Options While the 20cm short primary cable helps to avoid cable clutter in typical applications, the included 30cm extension provides extra range for all cases. Both cables are fully sheathed.
