The 852-602 is an industrial, configurable managed Ethernet switch with 8 copper ports 10/100BASE-TX. The switch has a robust housing, a redundant power supply and function monitoring with relays. The PROFINET certificate (conformity class B) guarantees easy integration into PROFINET automation systems via device description file (GSD). The device also supports PROFINET Netload Class II. The device supports flexible configuration of multi-port mirroring via the device description file or Web-based management. Using function blocks, the cyclic diagnostics of the PROFINET Switch can be efficiently implemented in the TIA Portal. An application note is available for this purpose.
