Description The BTA12, BTB12 and T12xx triac series are available in either THT or surface mount housings and are suitable for general purpose mains power circuits.

Applications ON/OFF or phase trim function in applications such as static relays, light dimmers and speed controllers of device motors. The Snubberless™ versions (BTA/BTB...W and T12 series) are especially recommended for use with inductive loads due to their high commutation performance. The BTA series offers an insulated tab (rated power 2500 VRMS).
