The GLC-9000 leakage current tester is used to perform leakage current tests ("touch current tests") on electrical and electronic equipment (IEC 60990).

This tester works with nine different "measurement networks" to allow simulation of the human body while the equipment under test (EUT) undergoes leakage current testing in compliance with the specific standards or regulations such as IEC, UL, JIS, etc.

The GLC-9000 features a large TFT LCD touch panel that provides an easy-to-use operating environment when configuring system settings, and also displays measurement information and results at the same time. The device also features 50 preset test conditions that meet IEC 60990 and other standards. 30 free memory slots are also available for user-defined settings.

The measuring port (T1/T2) can be used to measure voltage as with conventional multimeters. When measuring voltage, the SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) function can be used to determine whether the voltage value between measuring points exceeds the SELV setting.
