The US221A is a peripheral device switch featuring 2 USB 2.0 ports. Using the switch, 2 computers receive shared, time-offset access to a single USB peripheral device (such as a printer, scanner, mass storage device, etc).

The computer given access to the connected device at a specific time can be selected manually via buttons mounted on the switch, via the configuration software or automatically.
