The two-part cover made of brushed stainless steel delivers a high-quality design and mechanical stability. The cover has been specially designed for the PiXtend V2.1 -L- and Raspberry Pi B+, 2B, 3B and 3B+ models. All connectors and LEDs have easy-to-read labels.

The stainless steel hood also completes the contact protection for the entire system.

Details • Two-part cover (hood) made of brushed stainless steel • Laser cut, printed (screen-printed) and semi-automatically chamfered • The housing is essential when dangerous voltages (greater than 50 V) are present at the relay on the PiXtend V2.1 -L-. • Protects PiXtend and Raspberry Pi against unintentional touching of the accessible components and contacts on the underside of the board • Special design for PiXtend V2.1 -L- when combined with Raspberry Pi B+, 2B, 3B or 3B+ models

Important notes • For Raspberry Pi 3: The metallic housing may impair the on-board WIFI or Bluetooth signal. • With the PIXTEND2 L PRO, this housing is already included and fully assembled. • Cannot be used with PiXtend V1.2, V1.3 and V2.1 -S-
