ST1112 Developer boards - motor control, dual H-bridge, L298N

The double-H driver module uses the ST L298N dual full-bridge driver, a monolithic integrated circuit in a 15-pin multiwatt, PowerSO20 package.

It is a high-voltage, high-current dual full-bridge driver designed for standard TTL logic levels and drives inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, DC and stepper motors. Two enable inputs are provided to enable or disable the device independently of the input signals. The emitters of the lower transistors of each bridge are connected together, and the corresponding external terminal can be used to connect an external sense resistor. An additional supply input is provided so that the logic operates at a lower voltage.
