Wires in walls or cable trunking can be found quickly and easily with this cable locator. The location depth depends on the properties of the wall (e.g. masonry, plaster, concrete). A continuous or alternating carrier signal is modulated from the transmitter to one end of the cable so that the other end of the cable can be acoustically displayed quickly and precisely by the receiver, even without contacting or stripping. Double wires (e.g. in telecommunications technology) can be accurately identified. The sensitivity of the receiver can be continuously adjusted. An earphone jack allows you to work in a noisy environment. The transmitter is voltage-resistant up to 400V. The Testboy 26 is TÜV/GS tested and approved (IEC/EN 61010-1/DIN VDE 0411).
