25085 Rim cleaner, 750 ml, pump spray

Ballistol Wheel Cleaner Ballistol Wheel Cleaner is an acid-free gel cleaner with an effectiveness indicator for cleaning all types of wheels. It automatically dissolves brake dust as well as oil and rubber residues and indicates when it has taken effect through a color change. Developed for drivers who maintain their own rims and for professional use in workshops and detailing. Performance and Applications When sprayed on, the gel foams up and remains on the wheel rim instead of running off immediately. During the application time, it automatically removes stubborn dirt: brake dust, oil and rubber residues, as well as light surface rust. The built-in effectiveness indicator turns violet as the cleaning power increases, thus showing the progress of the cleaning process. Material compatibility has been tested for all common wheel types: steel and aluminum in high-gloss, matte, and multi-piece designs. The cleaner is neutral toward rubber and painted surfaces. It can also be used on vehicles equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Application Spray the rims generously from a short distance of about 30 to 40 cm and let it sit for 2 to 6 minutes. For particularly stubborn dirt, repeat the process and, if necessary, use a rim brush or microfiber cloth. Then rinse thoroughly with a strong stream of water or a pressure washer. Wear protective gloves. Do not use in direct sunlight or on heated surfaces; do not allow the product to dry; rinse thoroughly. Protect from frost.
