With this digital RGB LED Stripe, it is possible to control each LED individually. For this purpose there is a single IC on the Stripe for each LED, type: WS2801.

In our tests this chipset was supported by Boblight under Raspbmc "out-of-the-box", so that the construction of a dynamic TV backlight (as shown in figure 2) is possible with this Stripe.

In addition, the Stripe is cast with a silicon layer and is therefore also suitable for outdoor installation. The 3M adhesive layer on the back guarantees simple and safe installation.
