Carbon monoxide (CO) is a dangerous gas because it is colorless and odorless, making it undetectable to humans.

CO detectors are required when using, for example, fireplaces, gas stoves, gas water heaters, oil-fired stoves, wood-burning stoves, or tiled stoves.

We recommend installing one CO detector per bedroom.
