SmartFLEX Technology Due to the SmartFLEX soft PVC technology, these multimedia cables are highly flexible compared to conventional, rather stiff PVC cables. The special composition of the cable jacket allows very small bending radii and thus facilitates the installation or laying of the cables. High quality cable construction The conductors of this adapter cable consist of 99.99 % oxygen-free copper (CU). This high quality cable construction allows an optimal signal transmission and higher breaking strength of the cable. For a perfect signal transmission the connectors are equipped with gold-plated copper contacts and are located in a resistant aluminium housing. The locking protection / latching device attached to the DisplayPort connector prevents the connector from accidentally slipping out.
