The KIDDE X10 CO alarm offers a 10-year service life. The risk of CO poisoning exists in households where appliances are fueled by wood, coal, heating oil, or gas. For example, if heating systems are defective or inadequately maintained, if a flue is blocked, or if rooms are not sufficiently ventilated, CO can enter the indoor air. That’s when it becomes dangerous-even life-threatening! What makes it particularly treacherous is that you cannot see, smell, or taste this dangerous gas.

KIDDE CO detectors emit a loud alarm signal when carbon monoxide is detected. The alarm is triggered based on the measured CO concentration in the indoor air (in accordance with EN 50291). This means: a timely warning against CO concentrations that can lead to unconsciousness and death in a very short time. The X10-D model offers additional safety by displaying CO concentrations in the room air starting at 30 ppm on a digital display. A peak value memory ensures that a CO leak is reliably detected even after a prolonged absence.
