The Homematic IP switch actuator for DIN rail mounting - 4-fold enables the comfortable switching of up to four loads and simultaneously serves as a replacement for conventional current surge switches. Thanks to the radio communication, the actuator is ideal for retrofitting. The Homematic IP switch actuator for DIN rail mounting can be used to switch loads such as luminaires or radiators with a maximum power consumption of up to 3680 W per channel. This enables, for example, the automation of lighting via time profiles and depending on the sunrise and sunset, or the control of electric heaters via heating profiles. Four independent channels are available for retrofitting, which can be individually assigned. In addition to the powerful switching relays, the smart actuator also has four inputs for conventional 230 V pushbuttons or switches. These can be reused flexibly and thus replace existing shock switches without any problems.

In addition to classic buttons, the Homematic IP switch actuator for the DIN rail can also be operated conveniently with any other Homematic IP button, via Homematic IP remote control or via voice command (via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant). Thanks to stable spring-loaded terminals, the connection is particularly simple. Even without any programming, the function and the wiring can be checked via the illuminated display and the device buttons immediately after installation on the device. The set-up can be done either via free smartphone app with free cloud service via the Homematic IP Access point or with the locally operated Homematic central CCU2 or CCU3, as well as with numerous partner solutions.
