Mobeye Outdoor Alarm Detector

The Mobeye Outdoor Alarm combines the reliable Optex (PIR) detector with state-of-the-art Mobeye low-power communication technology. This system is ideal for temporary security and locations where power is not available.

When unauthorized individuals or vehicles approach a property line or linger nearby, it’s important to be notified early. The Mobeye CMVXI-R is an efficient way to quickly detect threats or suspicious activity. The detector’s reliability is ensured by its two integrated sensors. An alarm is triggered only when both sensors detect movement. Super Multi-Dimensional Analysis (SMDA signal detection) filters out small animals, weather effects, and moving vegetation. This reduces the risk of false alarms to virtually zero. The detection range is at least 2.5 meters and at most 12 meters. The field of view is a maximum of 90 degrees.

In the event of an alarm, the CMVXI-R sends alarm notifications via app, phone call (voice message), SMS and/or email to the alarm recipients, who can be easily programmed in the online portal. The number of recipients is unlimited. In addition, the CMVXI-R is capable of transmitting alarm signals via SIA DC-09 to private alarm monitoring centers.

The Mobeye CMVXI-R is fully battery-powered and is therefore independent of the power grid. This allows for flexibility in choosing the installation location. It is ideal for construction sites, industrial sites, driveways, gardens, farms, drafty warehouses, or outdoor storage areas. With the included batteries, it operates for more than two years (under normal use). As soon as the batteries need to be replaced, the administrator is notified. Manual operation is performed using the two included tags. Additional tags can be programmed. As an alternative to manual operation, the Mobeye Outdoor Alarm can be activated via automatic on/off schedules. Any user can freely customize the detection and alarm messages.

For maximum security and efficiency through seamless connectivity, we recommend using the cost-effective Mobeye 4G “Multi-Provider" M2M SIM card, which is included with every shipment. Using this card allows you to take full advantage of the comprehensive security chain offered by the Mobeye connectivity service. This service consists of the SIM card, access to the user-friendly portal, the push app, and support. The SIM card for the Mobeye CMVXI-R, which must be activated online, costs 4.00 EUR net per month. This is a fixed fee based on fair use.

Mobeye products can also be used with certain third-party contract SIM cards, although this limits the security chain. This means you will not be able to use the portal or the push app. Alarm notifications are sent (only) via SMS and phone calls to (up to) 5 contacts, and programming must be done via SMS commands. It is advisable to carefully consider whether using your own SIM card is a good option. In any case, it makes sense to check the Mobeye website in advance for information on using your own SIM cards.
