Developer boards - 4in1 module for 3,7V Li-Ion batteries

reichelt elektronik

This charging module can charge and discharge lithium ion and lithium polymer batteries. The module combines 4 functions (charge, discharge, protection circuit, voltage conversion) and supports a maximum charge/discharge current of 2A.

Technical data - Charging voltage: 4.5 ... 5.5V DC (recommended DC 5V) - charging current: 0 ... 2,1 A - charging standby current: 100 µA - charge end voltage: 4.2V +-1% - discharge current: 0 ... 2,4 A - discharge quiescent current: 50 µA - Discharge efficiency: up to 96% - output voltage: 5 V - output current: 0 ... 2,4 A - 4 level charge level indicator (25 / 50 / 75 / 100%) - Operating temperature: -20 ... +85°C - dimensions (LxWxH): 25 x 16 x 4 mm

The module has a protection function for lithium-ion batteries. Both protected and unprotected lithium-ion batteries can be operated with the module.

The following protection functions are supported - over current protection (OCP) - overvoltage protection (OVP) - short circuit protection (SCP) - over temperature protection (OTP)

Notes - in discharge mode, if the KEY connector is triggered once, the output is turned on. When triggered twice, the output is turned off - original separately supplied button already installed on the board. - when the load is connected for the first time, the output is automatically turned on. If the load is less than 50 mA, the output is switched off after 30 seconds; if the load is more than 50 mA, the output is still switched on. - the module supports a use of the consumer during charging. Note: the output voltage is >4.7/- the module can be used for modding the Retroflag GPi case: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBA2bvqCtnI
