290 Loctite 290 threadlocking adhesive, retrofit

Loctite® 290 is used to secure and seal threaded connections.

Due to its low viscosity and high capillary action the product penetrates the spaces between the threads without needing to loosen the connections beforehand. The product cures when hermetically sealed between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents independent loosening and leaking caused by shock and vibration. The product can also fill porosity in welds, castings and powdered metal parts.
