IQAUDIO DIGIAMP+ Raspberry Pi Shield - IQaudio DigiAMP

IQaudio DigiAMP+ uses the Texas Instruments TAS5756M PowerDAC to connect directly to passive stereo speakers with up to 2x 35 Wpc and variable output. Ideal for a Raspberry Pi based HiFi system.

The shield connects to the 40-pin GPIO header of Raspberry Pi 1 model B+, Raspberry Pi 2, 3 or 4 without soldering. DigiAMP+ needs to be powered by an external power supply and requires a 12/24 V DC hollow connector (5.5 mm outer, 2.5 mm inner), see "Accessories and Alternative Products".

DigiAMP+ is designed to power the Raspberry Pi & DigiAMP+ combination in parallel and supply your Raspberry Pi with 5.1V at 2.5A.

The amplifier is muted by default when powered on (mute LED is lit). The mute status / LED is controlled by the software (Raspberry Pi GPIO22).
