The keypad allows extensive control of the Smarthome alarm system The LUPUSEC outdoor keypad is used to control the XT2 (plus alarm system) and is used in particular to activate and deactivate the system when entering and leaving the building. To do this, either enter one of fifty freely definable PIN codes or simply swipe the keypad with the personal RFID chip.

The great safety advantage of the outdoor keypad compared to the indoor version is that the secured area does not have to be entered for disarming. This means that you can avoid any risk-prone input and output delays altogether. Cables for signal transmission are not necessary. The keypad can be operated with either batteries or the supplied 12V power supply and is easy to set up and ready for use in a short time.
