OKM 173 Metallurgical microscope, 50x/400x, trinocular

The KERN OKM-1 is an excellent metallurgical incident light microscope e.g. for surface quality inspection of raw materials and finished products in industry.

The powerful and continuously dimmable 30 W halogen incident light illumination (Philips) ensures excellent and high-contrast images. The lighting unit with an integrated 5-fold filter wheel for blue, green, yellow, grey and empty allows quick changing of the colour filters for different contrast views. A large mechanical stage for reflected light applications is configured as standard.

The coarse and fine drive on both sides ensures optimal adjustment and focusing of your sample. A simple polarisation unit (analyser and polariser) is included in the delivery. A dust cover, eye shades and a multilingual operating manual are included in the delivery. A C-mount adapter is required to connect a camera to the trinocular version.

Application areas: Metallurgy, materials testing, quality assurance, for non-transparent and thick preparations as well as whole workpieces (surfaces, broken edges, coatings).
