Mobeye ThermoGuard

The Mobeye ThermoGuard CM4200 monitors the ambient temperature and notifies the designated contacts via phone. Simply set the maximum or minimum temperature, and the Mobeye ThermoGuard takes care of the monitoring. Although it is designed for low power consumption (more than a year of battery life under normal use), the device can also be connected to an external power source. If connected to an external power source, the ThermoGuard also functions as a power failure detector. The Mobeye ThermoGuard is equipped with an external digital temperature sensor. The temperature can be set between -35 °C and +70 °C. If the actual temperature falls outside the set limits, a notification is sent via push notification, SMS, phone call, or email.

The Mobeye ThermoGuard is an effective tool for protecting against damage caused by extreme cold or heat. It is suitable for situations where monitoring the ambient temperature is advisable or necessary. This may include, for example, refrigeration systems in restaurants, medical cabinets, server rooms, laboratories, heating systems, or machinery in industrial settings. In addition to the temperature sensor, external sensors can be connected to the two NO/NC inputs. This allows for even more monitoring, such as the operation of heaters, ventilation systems, fans, air purifiers, or the potential unauthorized opening of doors. Settings-such as alarm delays in the event of a power outage, user-defined alarm messages, etc.-are easy to configure in the online portal.

For maximum security and efficiency through seamless connectivity, we recommend using the cost-effective Mobeye 4G “Multi-Provider" M2M SIM card, which is included with every shipment. Using this card allows you to take full advantage of the comprehensive security chain offered by the Mobeye connectivity service. This service consists of the SIM card, access to the user-friendly portal, the push app, and support. The SIM card for the Mobeye CM4200, which must be activated online, costs 4.00 EUR net per month. This is a fixed fee based on fair use.

Mobeye products can also be used with certain third-party contract SIM cards, although the security chain will be limited in this case. This means you will not be able to use the portal or the push app. Alarm notifications will be sent (only) via SMS and phone calls to (up to) 5 contacts, and configurations must be made via SMS commands. It is advisable to carefully consider whether using your own SIM card is a good option. In any case, it makes sense to check the Mobeye website in advance for information on using your own SIM cards.
