This instrument is a professional and versatile metallurgical microscope for the inspection of metals and surface analysis. The KERN OKO 178 is a combination variant of LED incident light and LED transmitted light. A centreable and height-adjustable 1.25 Abbe condenser as well as a field diaphragm for full professional Köhler illumination are part of the standard equipment. An open, mechanical cross-stage is integrated as standard. A simple polarisation unit (analyser and polariser) is included. A dust cover, eyecups, and a multilingual instruction manual are included.
