210597 Surface photoelectric sensor with 6 beams

The surface light barrier RLG28 contains several transmitters and receivers in one housing and forms a 60 mm detection field with an opposing reflector over a range of 4 m.

If the light beams are interrupted by an object, the switching function is triggered. The smallest object size leading to detection is 12 mm. The RLG28 switches at 10% contrast difference with a response time of 1 ms. An intelligent gain control compensates for effects such as contamination, deadjustment and temperature effects.
