The meter for displaying metric units (kWh) is used for directly measuring the active power in a three-phase system. A special electronic system generates pulses in a quantity proportional to the consumed current under the influence of flowing current and applied voltage. The energy consumption in a phase is indicated by the flashing LED. The number of pulses is converted to consumed energy and the value is displayed on the LCD display (6+2).
