Optimised SiC & IGBT GDIC for xEV traction inverters

The GD3162 is a galvanically isolated single-channel gate driver designed for SiC MOSFET and IGBT power modules in xEV traction inverter applications. The GD3162 provides programmable gate drive control through an SPI interface, enabling adjustable dynamic gate strength and configuration of protection features. Integrated diagnostics and fault monitoring allow autonomous management of power device and gate driver status with interrupt-based reporting. Developed for automotive systems requiring ISO 26262 functional safety, the GD3162 supports applications up to ASIL C and ASIL D and is qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 1 requirements.
