The VIB 170 AL is a slim 2-way freestanding loudspeaker, in which an 8-ohm AL 170 bass driver and the 8-ohm 25-mm G 25 FFL fabric dome tweeter are used. The 34-litre bass reflex enclosure delivers an amazingly deep lower cutoff frequency of 25 Hz without sacrificing a powerful, precise bass response. The reason for this is the 8-ohm AL 170 woofer with its ventilated centring and the very large linear stroke. The streamlined bass reflex tube BR 25.50 is located on the rear of the enclosure for optical reasons, but can be moved forwards when mounted close to the wall (closer than 10 cm).
