Mobeye ThermoGuard TwinLog (Indoor)

The Mobeye ThermoGuard TwinLog CML4255 continuously measures, logs, and monitors the ambient temperature and alerts the configured contacts via phone in the event of a problem. Temperature limits can be set between -35 °C and +70 °C. If the actual temperature falls outside the set limits, a notification is sent via push notification, SMS, phone call, or email. The device can also be connected to an external power source, although it is designed for low power consumption (more than one year of battery life under normal use). When a power adapter is connected, the ThermoGuard TwinLog expands its capabilities to include a power failure detector.

The Mobeye CML4255 is an effective tool for protecting against damage caused by extreme cold or heat. It is suitable for applications where monitoring the ambient temperature is advisable or necessary. Examples include: medicine cabinets in pharmacies, nursing homes, and hospitals; air conditioning systems in server rooms; aquariums and fish ponds; laboratories; heating systems and machinery in industrial facilities; and many more.

In addition to the temperature sensor, external sensors can be connected to the two NO/NC inputs. This allows you to monitor, among other things, the operation of heaters, ventilation systems, fans, air purifiers, or the opening of doors. Settings such as alarm delays in the event of a power outage, user-defined alarm messages, etc., can be easily programmed via the online portal.

For outdoor monitoring-such as grain or fertilizer storage facilities, orchards, or fish ponds-we recommend the Mobeye ThermoGuard TwinLog CML4275.

For maximum security and efficiency through seamless connectivity, we recommend using the cost-effective Mobeye 4G “Multi-Provider" M2M SIM card, which is included with every shipment. Using this card allows you to take full advantage of the comprehensive security chain offered by the Mobeye connectivity service. This service consists of the SIM card, access to the user-friendly portal, the push app, and support. The SIM card for the Mobeye CML4255, which must be activated online, costs 8.00 EUR net per month. This is a fixed fee based on fair use.

Mobeye products can also be used with certain third-party contract SIM cards; however, this limits the security chain and disables the logging function. This also means that the portal and the push app cannot be used. Alarm notifications are sent (only) via SMS and phone call to (up to) 5 contacts; programming must be done via SMS commands. It is advisable to carefully consider whether using your own SIM card is a good option. In any case, it makes sense to check the Mobeye website in advance for information on using your own SIM cards.
