Mobeye CM-Guard TwinLog

The Mobeye CM-Guard TwinLog (CML4055) is a highly specialized, compact transmitter designed to monitor analog values and record voltage waveforms. By measuring two analog values, the CML4055 monitors alarm thresholds and periodically logs the measured values. The lower and/or upper limits to be monitored are adjustable. If the values deviate, the integrated 4G communication module sends an alarm notification via push notification, phone call, SMS, or email. Furthermore, the Mobeye CM-Guard TwinLog logs the measured values and sends them regularly to the Mobeye Internet Portal. There, the values are displayed in graphical and tabular form and are also available as a downloadable file.

The Mobeye CML4055 is specifically designed to measure voltages between 0 and 48 volts, with peaks up to 60 volts. This makes the CML4055 ideal for monitoring battery voltage. If a battery is discharged too deeply or reaches too high a voltage, it often fails. By setting an alarm threshold, timely action can be taken. Using the additional open-collector output, the device can, for example, shut down a battery.

If no external power source is available to power the Mobeye CM-Guard TwinLog, the CML4055 operates on its internal batteries, which last up to one year. However, if a power source is available, it is recommended to connect it using a 12-24V DC adapter. The CML4055 can then be accessed online, the batteries last longer, and it also immediately functions as a power failure alarm.

For maximum security and efficiency with seamless connectivity, we recommend using the cost-effective Mobeye 4G “Multi-Provider" M2M SIM card, which is included with every shipment. By using this card, you can take full advantage of the comprehensive security chain offered by the Mobeye connectivity service. This service consists of the SIM card, access to the user-friendly portal, the push app, and support. The SIM card for the Mobeye CML4055, which must be activated online, costs 8.00 EUR net per month. This is a fixed amount based on fair use.

Mobeye products can also be used with certain third-party contract SIM cards; however, this limits the security chain and disables the logging function. This also means that the portal and the push app cannot be used. Alarm notifications are sent (only) via SMS and phone call to (up to) 5 contacts; programming must be done via SMS commands. It is advisable to carefully consider whether using your own SIM card is a good option. In any case, it makes sense to check the Mobeye website in advance for information on using your own SIM cards.
