This is a brass-coated, wear-resistant nozzle for the Ultimaker 3/S5 Print Core AA.
The nozzle is made of 360 brass base material and features a TwinClad XT coating. TwinClad XT is a nickel composite coating designed for very low friction. It offers one of the lowest coefficients of friction, outperforming nickel with PTFE co-deposition.
The TwinClad XT coating is also very hard and abrasion-resistant. When working with abrasive carbon fiber, stainless steel, wood-filled, or other metal-filled filaments, this coating reliably protects the nozzle from premature wear.
