Smart IIoT gateway with 8/16/32 GB eMMC based on Raspberry Pi

The Open Source IIoT Gateway RevPi Connect series allows the user maximum freedom in realising their IIoT projects thanks to the open-source platform concept (including complete root rights) and the large variety of available interfaces. Depending on the version, the RevPi Connect is equipped with the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3, Compute Module 3+ or Compute Module 4S. A real time clock (RTC) with 24-h buffering ensures that the device always knows how late it is, even in the event of a power failure.

A specially adapted version of Raspbian with real-time function is used as the operating system. Key IIoT protocols such as MQTT and OPC UA are available, such as transferring machine data directly to the cloud.

Individual applications can be programmed via Node-RED, Python or directly in C, including other programming languages. The modular design of the RevPi Connect enables the 45 mm wide base unit to be equipped with suitable expansion modules such as IOs, fieldbus gateways (not compatible with the RevPi Connect SE series) and radio modules, e.g. for M-Bus. The expansion modules can be connected to the base unit using plug-and-play via an overhead connector-without the need for tools-and can be conveniently configured using the graphical user interface.
