Spacers for installing swivelling halogen and LED recessed light fixtures in various ceiling constructions. The housing ensures the necessary clearance between the light fixture and the surrounding material. Materials such as vapour barriers and insulation are effectively protected against the high operating temperatures of the light fixture. This protection measure can be installed in new buildings and retrofitted in existing buildings. The housing is suitable for installation diameters between 68 mm and 80 mm and can be adapted to different installation heights from 40 to 100 mm. After installation, the spacer lies securely on the panelling. This ensures that the installation diameter is completely retained and a firm hold is ensured.
