Product benefits: The weight per unit area scale is a true scale all-rounder. You can use the appliance as a laboratory scale with the g/m² display unit or as a "normal" scale with the g display unit (adjustable at the touch of a button). When used as a weight per unit area scale with direct display in g/m² you must place samples on it that have an area of 100 cm².

Either cut out a square (10 x 10 cm) or use an appropriate sample ripper. The most accurate variant is the use of a sample cutter, which you can also order from us in the accessories suitable for this weight per unit area scale. For paper with a high surface mass, for example cardboard and paper board, the weight per unit area scale can be used without the wind shield supplied. For writing paper, however, the wind shield should always be used.
