The VIAVI FFL-105 is a sturdy Visual Fault Locator that quickly and easily locates problem areas in fiber optic cables. By accurately locating fiber damages, technicians can efficiently diagnose, investigate and repair the issue. The VFL is also used to perform continuity testing and fiber optic identification.|The FFL-105 is designed for convenient handling and portability. It is equipped with a 2.5-mm interface and is compatible with connectors such as SC, ST and FC, while the included 1.25-mm adapter allows connection to LC and MU connectors. The VFL emits a bright red laser beam (Class 3R), making the light emerging from the damaged fiber easily visible from a distance. The Continuous/Flash control button allows the operator to choose between continuous and flashing illumination.
