Load-bearing design made of die-cast aluminium with milled housings for bearings and shafts,

which are necessary for vibration-free, clean planing of soft and hard woods. Triple-mounted planing table (made of die-cast aluminium, face-milled), which can be adjusted with 1/10-mm precision using a handwheel (with zero-adjustable scale ring). Automatic, uniform feed with non-return function: The knurled, spring-loaded feed roller also transports irregularly shaped workpieces. A rubberised outfeed roller protects the planed surface. Precision planer shaft with two reversible planer blades made of HSS.

Note: Fractions of millimetres can determine whether the workpiece can be used, especially when planing. This is why precision is required, especially for small parts. The DH 40 planer allows clean planing from 1.0 mm of material (in conjunction with a support and double-sided adhesive tape).
