The NetPeppers fibre optic stripper with its newly developed operating principle is the perfect tool for stripping multimode and singlemode optical fibres in any application scenario. The NetPeppers fibre optic stripper is a precisely manufactured tool for stripping fibre optic primary coatings up to 250 µm onto the bare glass fibre with 125 µm. The alternative operating principle to conventional stripping tools, in which the blades are in contact with the pliers handles in a relaxed state, enables the primary coating to be gently stripped with a predefined force. This effectively prevents fibre damage and breakage. By inserting the fibre straight through the funnel-shaped opening at the front and the adjustable stop of 5 - 45 mm, kinking of the fibre is avoided and repeatable setting down is possible with millimetre precision. This prevents unnecessarily long fibre remnants or fibres that have been set down too short, which can be a hindrance during further processing. The blades, which are made in Solingen, are preset at the factory so that no subsequent adjustment is necessary, and the handy handles ensure fatigue-free working without slipping.
