The NetPeppers fibre optic tool kit contains everything you need to install fibre optic lines. Whether FTTX, building or campus cabling: The carefully selected tools support you in preparing fibre optic cables for field-terminable connectors, fusion splices, mechanical splices or in repairing already existing fibre optic cables. The components of the case have been carefully selected and sensibly assembled for the fibre optic installer.

The fibre optic tool case combines all steps for processing optical fibres in one compact set. For stripping the outer sheath of drop or micro/mini blow-in cables, the Miller MB06-7000 loose tube cutter is available for outer sheath thicknesses up to 6.4 mm and longitudinal slitting function. For stripping 3 mm protective sheath and 900 ?m secondary coating, a proven Miller pliers is used. For stripping the 250 ?m primary coating, the NetPeppers OFS31 fibre optic precision stripper is used. In addition to a pair of scissors for removing the Kevlar braid, the scope of delivery also includes wipes and an alcohol pressure dispenser for cleaning the fibre before assembly. Safety during processing is ensured by tweezers and an end-sealable waste container for fibre residues. At the end of the finishing process, the installation can be checked for defects using the VLP50 visible laser light source.
