Universal calibrator and simulator

The METRAHIT CAL calibrator is designed as an accurate calibration and simulation device for electric variables. It is suitable as a hand-held device for precise calibration and inspection tasks on-site and in the testing field and labs, in process engineering, in maintenance and apparatus construction, in general measurement technology and many other areas. Transmitters with a wide range of input signals (voltage, thermal voltage, RTD and 2-conductor resistance transmitters etc.) can be directly connected and calibrated. By using a multimeter (e.g. METRAHIT AM XTRA), the corresponding measured values can be measured at the transducer output and, where necessary, transferred via an adapter to a PC, displayed there with the optional METRAwin90-2 software and compared with the respective calibration specifications. The setpoints and actual values are displayed or printed as a certificate. In the "mA-sink" position, the METRAHIT CAL simulates a two-conductor transmitter and extracts the selected current value from the measurement sequence.
