The adapter allows data transfer between the multimeter and a computer. The adapter connects multimeters equipped with a serial IR interface – METRAHIT AM XTRA, PM, E and series as well as X-TRA – to the USB interface of a PC.

Every METRAHIT multimeter becomes a professional, PC-based universal registration system thanks to METRAwin 10 and an interface adapter. The measured values are retrieved from multimeters via METRAwin 10, managed on computers and displayed as Yt, XY diagrams (up to 6 channels) or in tabular form (up to 10 channels). In online mode, the measurement data is displayed on up to four virtual pointer instruments or digital displays (with adjustable limits). The powerful online arithmetic enables data to be evaluated and analysed. Scanning can be adjusted across wide ranges to suit the multimeter type and measuring function. The measurement data can be exported as an ASCII file or easily transferred via the clipboard to other Windows applications (such as Word, Excel).
