KE7000 cable testers are cost-effective test tools for patch, LAN and telecommunications cabling, as well as coaxial cables using an optional adapter. Unshielded and shielded connecting cables with twisted pairs (UTP and STP cables) in installed networks as well as patch cables can be tested and verified. BNC- and F-socket coaxial cables can be checked for continuity using the RJ45 coaxial adapter. One device is automatically configured as a master and one as a slave. The advantage of using two main devices is that the status of the tests on both devices can be easily read, simplifying and accelerating the measurement process.
