10BASE-T1S PMD Transceiver

TJA1410 is NXP’s 10BASE-T1S OA TC14 specification compliant PMD transceiver. It communicates over the OA 3-pin interface with the host MCU or switch, which must have the 10BASE-T1S digital PHY. The device is a cost-effective solution for 10BASE-T1S connectivity, and comes in a compact HVSON8 (3 x 3 mm) low footprint package. It ensures high signal quality even in challenging electromagnetic environments, while having a low quiescent current and supporting advanced diagnostics features such as topology discovery as specified in OA TC14.

The TJA1410 complies with all OA TC14 conformance test specifications and is designed according to ISO 26262 to meet ASIL B functional safety requirements. It also supports OPEN Alliance TC10-TC14 wake signal over the ethernet data line and is fully compatible with a power over data line implementation. It is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified.
