Electronic paper, due to its exceptional sharpness, contrast and energy efficiency, is an ideal choice for many applications. Inkplate 6COLOR, a continuation of the Inkplate series, offers variations of e-paper for hobbyists and other users. The hardware is designed to be plug-and-play and compatible with Arduino (or a compatible board such as Dasduino) and Micropython. A notable innovation is the ability to display colors on the screen.

The key features of the Epaper Inkplate 6COLOR are a folded 5.85-inch e-paper that can display seven different colors. The integrated dithering function enables impressive results on the screen. The ESP32 microcontroller provides WLAN and Bluetooth with extremely low power consumption (18 uA), which enables a long service life on a single battery charge. Setting up the board using the Arduino library (compatible with Adafruit GFX) takes just five minutes. A Micropython module is also available, which is 100% open source.
