The TA042 is an active differential probe suitable for applications involving the measurement of high common-mode voltages up to ±1400 V (DC + peak AC). It is capable of capturing signals at higher speeds of up to 100 MHz. This differential probe extends the functionality of standard oscilloscopes with unbalanced inputs to provide a safe and accurate method for performing high-voltage differential measurements. Applications include safe measurements in power circuits and the acquisition of low-speed symmetrical differential signals, such as those found in serial communication buses. The TA042 is an active probe that runs on either four AA batteries (included) or the TA531 power cable (USB to DC jack), which is also included. The TA531 is designed for use with standard USB wall chargers (not included).
