ZB2L3 capacity meter for rechargeable batteries 18650 cell tester

Mikrobot

ZB2L3 cell capacity tester ZB2L3 tester is a precise tool for accurate assessment of rechargeable battery condition. The device is powered by a voltage in the range of 4.5V to 6V, supplied via a built-in micro USB port. It enables effective monitoring and diagnostics of cells in many electronic projects. The module supports a wide capacity range, achieving a maximum measurement result of 9999Ah while maintaining high accuracy of 1%. The kit includes 2 resistors rated 7.5 Ohm and 5W, which allow a proper discharge and measurement process. Key technical features

* Support for many cell types: Li-Ion, Ni-Mh, Ni-Cd, Li-Pol, Li-Fe, Pb * Module power supply: 4.5V - 6V (micro USB port) * Maximum voltage of battery under test: 15V * Minimum voltage of battery under test: 0.5V * Maximum measured capacity: 9999Ah

Example applications

* Verifying actual capacity of recovered 18650 cells * Testing wear of battery packs in RC modelling * Battery diagnostics in portable devices and power tools * Checking condition of gel and lead-acid (Pb) batteries * Selecting cells with similar parameters for building new power packs

Benefits

* High measurement precision thanks to 1% accuracy * Versatile use with a wide range of popular rechargeable types * Ready to use straight out of the box thanks to included load resistors * Convenient power from a standard phone charger via micro USB * Safe operation with clear error messages on the display

Specifications

* Power supply: 4.5 - 6V via micro USB * Maximum voltage of cell under test: 15V * Minimum voltage of cell under test: 0.5V * Maximum cell capacity: 9999 Ah * Included: 2x 7.5 Ohm, 5W resistors

Simplified operating instructions * Make sure the battery under test is fully charged. * Connect the battery to the tester: positive to IN(+), negative to IN(-). Warning: reversed connection will damage the module. * Connect the resistor included in the kit to the terminals marked R. * Connect the tester to power via the micro USB port. * Press and hold the OK button until the LED flashes 3 times. The tester will automatically select the discharge range and show the battery voltage. * During operation the display alternately shows current voltage, discharged mAh, and discharge current. * The device discharges the cell to the set voltage. With automatic selection the module sets a safe discharge threshold by itself. * When the process finishes, the display shows the actual capacity of the battery under test. Measurement takes as long as needed to discharge the cell. * The + and - buttons allow manual setting of the end-of-discharge voltage. Note: Discharging a battery to too low a voltage can cause irreversible damage. Before manually setting the discharge voltage, read the specification for that cell. Display error indications

* Err1: Battery voltage exceeds 15V * Err2: Battery voltage is lower than 0.5V * Err3: Battery does not allow loading or discharge current is too high * Err4: Discharge current exceeds 3.1A
