This gas detector with external CO sensor, which has been fully tested by TÜV Süd in accordance with DIN EN 50291, is an indispensable safety device in every household! In the event of an alarm, the connected appliance is switched off and an acoustic and visual signal is also emitted. The system is triggered immediately at a carbon monoxide concentration of 300 ppm. Lower concentrations only trigger the alarm after a certain waiting time defined by the standard. On the one hand, this reliably prevents any "false alarms"; on the other hand, you also receive an alarm if lower concentrations can lead to a build-up in the blood over a longer period of time. If the gas warning device is to be located outside the interstitial space, the sensor cable can be fed through a Ø 13 mm hole in the wall. The external sensor is connected to the cable via an RJ plug connection.
