Integrated enhanced contact protection in accordance with VDE 0620 Part 1. The integrated surge protection module protects devices connected to the socket against voltage peaks in the network. The module also secures sockets located within a radius of 5 m in the same circuit. Includes visual and acoustic fault indicator: In the event of a surge the green control LED goes out and an acoustic signal sounds when the plug is plugged in.
