ESP Flasher

Designed by Colin Hickey from Eplop, this is a programmer for ESP-based boards, it is designed around the standard set by Jon Oxer which allows you to offload a lot of the hardware required for programming to a dedicated board saving costs and space on board designs. The ESP Flasher board uses a Micro-USB connection. Why did you make it? A lot of boards I design do not need to be regularly programmed and it is almost a one-off affair. I do however need a reliable way to program and still check serial output etc. By putting the six-pin header on your board or using dupont cables you can program up an ESP board. What makes it special? The board can perform the special steps required to automatically program the ESP chip without the need to mess around trying to pull GPIO0 low manually during boot. This also works when programming ESP-01 boards by plugging them into the onboard header. Features
