A total of 20 ON/OFF programmes are available which can be made to operate over seven days, one of seven individual days and various combinations of days such as week days or weekends only. Battery back up retains programmes and clock time in the event of a power cut and also allows out of socket programming for ease of use.

The timer plug also has an advance feature of a random delay to both on and off times of all programmes, meaning that the timer will start up to 26 minutes before or after the times set, to increase the perception that there is someone at home.
