Panasonic AMN31111J Digital Black PIR Sensor NaPiOn Series

A high sensitivity Passive Infrared (PIR) motion sensor designed for the detection of the small movements of people, animals, etc. The small size of the detector means it can be mounted in inaccessible places and the miniaturised lens with its 64 small elements give excellent sensitivity. The circuitry of the sensor is enclosed in a metal TO-5 can giving excellent resistance to radiation and power supply noise. The device is suitable for battery use thanks to low current consumption.

Suitable applications for this PIR sensor include control of lamps and lighting, motion detection of individuals, monitoring of indoor and outdoor areas, lighting management systems, activation of monitors, automatic door openers, etc.
