Arduino® Education Starter Kit

The Arduino Education Starter Kit introduces secondary school students to programming, coding, and electronics, requiring no prior knowledge. Designed to guide students step-by-step, the kit includes detailed teacher guides and can be tailored to match different learning abilities. It integrates well into the curriculum, helping students build confidence in programming and electronics while developing essential skills like collaboration and problem-solving.

This kit is suitable for up to eight students working in pairs and includes all necessary hardware, software, and an online platform featuring nine 90-minute lessons and two open-ended group projects. Each lesson builds on the last, reinforcing key concepts as students progress.

The kit also offers extra resources, including exercises, historical context, and optional activities to extend learning. Students maintain an engineering logbook to document their projects and track their development. Each lesson starts with an overview, learning objectives, and estimated times, with teacher notes and guidance throughout to support smooth delivery. Extension ideas are provided at the end of each lesson, encouraging further exploration and creativity.
