This isolated barrier is suitable for intrinsically safe applications.

The device transmits binary signals from NAMUR sensors or mechanical contacts from the hazardous area to the safe area.

Each input controls an active transistor output.

Switches can be used to reverse the direction of action of the outputs and to switch off line fault detection.

An error is indicated by LEDs in accordance with NAMUR NE44 and is output via a separate collective error message.
